Hey, Thanks for the fix...a question, tho:

 

As we are temporarily disabling the review of valid signatures in the boot process, once we get the sound CODEC working should we restore the defaut setting to review for valid signatures?

Hi there, you won't have to worry about enabling the default valid signature enforcement being enabled.  Every time you reboot it will automatically be there... then you will have to go through the process of disabling to have your sound.  Once a new driver comes out you will have no worries at all unless you're having trouble with signatures on another device.  Glad I could help you and hope you have a great "sound" week-end  🙂

I had the same problem until today. Try downloading the audio driver for Windows 8.1, it worked for me. http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64107.exe
