Please help me fix no audio on my laptop!

There is a yellow triangle by the Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (IntelR SST) OED. It says:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Failed to load external libraries.

I checked the sound in bios and it works. It works on other devices when plugged in via HDMI. It occasionally worked on my laptop after unplugging HDMI.

It worked for a day after deleting the Intel drivers and using High Definition Audio Controller.

Now I have no sound again. I tried reinstalling Intel's SST Audio Controller and OED but OED is still showing the same error.

I don't want to junk a beautiful working laptop just because the audio doesn't work but it is a big deal for me.

Please help if you can!

For anyone still struggling with this, I found on another post that someone recommended rolling back the Intel SST Audio Controller (NOT the SST OED that had the yellow triangle)! This instantly worked and I am enjoying full quality B&O range of sound on my Spectre x360. The suggestion was for another laptop completely, so it may work for anyone struggling with Code 10 on SST OED. Hope this does the trick for good!
