I have no sound on my computer. It says there is no sound device installed. Nothing shows up in the device manager under sound. I have tried updating drivers, but it says that there is no device installed. I tried a factory reset, but it still says there is no audio device installed. I have the extended warranty, but when I try to open a support chat, it says "Support session cannot be started."

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Did you make any changes on the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
Keep me posted for further assistance.
