I have installed the internal speakers in my HP Proone 440 G9 AIO 23.8, but the speaker doesn't sound. If I use the headphone jack there is sound. When i disconnect the Headphone jack there will be no possibility to change the volume, and no output device will be shown. Is there anyone able to solve the problem?

This might be possible if the internal speaker cable is not connected. Also check if the BIOS audio is disabled.

Here are few fixes that you can try:

1. Check if the Internal Speaker Cable Is Properly Connected
2. Install HP Audio Drivers
3. Run Audio Troubleshooter

English is not my native language, so ich will try to explain it otherwise. I have bought the HP 440 Proone G9 and have forgotten to order also the optional internal speakers. So i bought the speakers afterwards and put them in. The cable is proper connected, but there is no sound on the speakers, there is even no output device shown; not under Windows sound and not under the device manager. Has there some more work to be done as only to build in the internal speakers?
