Hello @winniethepaul @ub6424

I have OMEN Laptop - 15-dh1054nr Laptop and have been having this same exact issue, probably since last 1 to 2 years. I have really gotten frustrated and came to this forum to search for solution.

I am glad I found this thread but disappointed that there's no accepted Solution yet. Could you please share whether a solution was found for this issue? I am using Windows 11 for OS.

Hey @winniethepaul,

Try the steps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdtXRfUb43M

Specially, going to "Communication" tab in Sound Settings and selecting Do Nothing. I am going to observe and see if this fixed my problem, but, I am hopeful that it was this option (crazy default setting) that was reducing the volume automatically.
