OMEN Laptop - 17-cb1001na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought my omen gaming laptop, I realised the volume on the laptop is so low when I turned it up to the max. 17 inch laptop so huge and heavy but the sound is way lower than other HP laptops in the house. Is this normal or am I missing something. Thinking about returning it to be honest as I have tried all the troubleshoots. Its quite interesting though when I plug my headphones is really loud. I use the speaker on the laptop mostly as I listen to online videos and streams. Help before I return it....some posts along similar problem makes me understand this is normal for this laptop.

Please perform a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

   (a) Download the following driver (Nov 26, 2020) and save on your computer,
                https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111001-111500/sp111263.exe

   (b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
   (c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
   (d) Reboot again.

Regards.
