I upgraded recently to Windows 10 1703. I've been having audio problems ever since.
When I use skype for business or when I visit site through my various browsers the audio will not play through my earplugs/headset but only through my speaker audio.
Sites like USATODAY.com, use two channel audio and 1 stream comes through the headset and the other channel(ads) will stream to the the computer speakers.
How do I stop this? Is there a way for me to change the audio device and use the other one with the laptop?

Hi,
Try downloading the latest driver for audio from here:
uninstall the audio controller driver in device manager (right-click on start and click on device manager) right-clcik on connexant high definition audio and click on uninstall. Now reboot the PC and install the downloaded driver.
Hope it helps,
David

Hi,
HPSA will take a lot longer to download and may fail few times because the file is too big (believe me). Please download manually and install yourself.
Regards.

This problem isn't quite fixed with this driver. Some of the sites I visit still come through the speakers despite having headphones plugged in. How do I get you the info you need to fix/report this?
