I have this issue with the realtek driver, whenever i listen to something , after a while the sound starts crackling and sizzling, i reinstalled the os (windows 10) i also installed windows 11 to see if that solves the problem. The only solution by now is to install the generic audio driver from microsoft but it doesnt have a nice sound quality, i tried to install an earlier version of the realtek driver but it just doesnt support the os, since i have a newer version of windows 10, and the earlier drivers only support the 1909, 1903 and 1809 builds and i am on the 21h2 version, please help, i do not find any solution

Hello @Orochimanco
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ...
(1) Update BIOS
HP Consumer Notebook PC BIOS Update | F.16 Rev.A | 13.0 MB | May 18, 2022 | Download |
Why should you install the update ?
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4123786-2338478-16
Quote: "
Updating the BIOS is recommended as standard maintenance of the computer. It can also help resolve the following issues:
- An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
- The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
- HP Support recommends installing a specific BIOS update.
"
(2) Open windows device manager. Right click on the audio device to uninstall it and confirm.
( Do NOT REBOOT ! )
(3) Install audio driver
Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver | 6.0.8688.1 Rev.B | 44.8 MB | May 22, 2019 | Download |
( BANG & OLUFSEN )
(4) Reboot and test again ...
Please report your results
best regards

Hello, thanks for trying to help, the bios is up to date already, but i updated it from the drivers download page, not from the hp image assistant, it shouldn t be a problem right ? 😞
also, i tried to install that driver before, but since I am using windows 11, it says it is not supported on this version of windows, if there is any way to install that specific driver it would be worth of trying it out ,
And finally, just in case it is usefull, i am downloading the drivers from this page: https://support.hp.com/es-es/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-cw1000-laptop-pc/26183458/model/2917...
the bios update was also downloaded from there,
best regards

Still having the issue ( it happens after a while of playing sounds in the device, not instantly ) with the last driver available , i tried to intall earlier versions of the driver but i can't, here is the screenshot
And about the intel update, i cant because i run an amd chipset and the drivers are up to date
in windows update , there is not any optional update .
In my opinion, a possible solution could be install an earlier version of the driver, maybe download from realtek, but there are not drivers to download in the realtek webpage
anyway, thanks a lot for trying to help
best regads 🙂
