Product: OMEN Laptop - 17t-cb100 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using ASIO4ALL (2.14, not 2.15) for music programs. 1) I can't get the speaker to turn OFF. I've turned speaker device off in Control Panel. It still "speaks". 2) I can't control headphone volume. How do I turn the speaker off and control headphone volume?

This worked for me: Download and install ASIO4ALL 2.14 (not 2.15). Restart PC. Click on Windows icon, which will show list of apps. Click on ASIO4ALL v2 Off-Line Settings, which will open ASIO window. Click on icons in lower right hand corner to show pertinent audio devices. Click on boxes next to Realtek (R) Audio: set right hand box to right-pointing arrow, indicating active status. Black out boxes next to Intel Smart Sound Tech . . .

Now, speakers are silent and I can control headphone volume.

I wonder if HP Support knows anything about ASIO.
