Whenever I try to play audio through the built in speakers, all that is heard is a very quiet high pitch noise. Sound works with headphones plugged in.

What I have tried:

-Uninstalling/Reinstalling Drivers

-Updating Drivers

-Audio Troubleshooting Program that pops up in Windows

-Audio Playback Test in BIOS

The audio test in BIOS came back with the "FAILURE ID: PGC1U2-90X9AV-GXGGQK-21FQ03"

At this point I'm afraid the speakers may be toast, but any suggestions would be much appreciated.
