Hi, @mazzei08
Reinstalling this driver, and restarting the PC should resolve the issue...
This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

I think this is due to new Windows 10 updates. Please try
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81001-81500/sp81305.exe
Redards.

You're very welcome.
That driver should have also installed the Beats Audio GUI.
If you explore the driver folder, there are Beats audio files present.
That is evidenced in this discussion, as well as many others...

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
It seems that with the last few updates to W10 (MCE, FCE), the sound gets knocked out, and you have to reinstall the audio driver.
It has happened to most of my HP desktop and notebook PC's with the Soundmax HD, IDT HDand Realtek HD audio chips.
Reinstalling the audio driver from the PC's support page has always fixed the problem fortunately.
So, now you know what to do when Microsoft updates W10 again in 6 - 12 months, and the sound goes out.
