Specter x360 15”
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Our specter x360 stated making a loud static/white noise from the left speaker accompanied by a burning kind smell from the same area of the laptop. It is used in a home office mainly doing excel work. I updated the drivers but the problem still persists.

Nothing? This has been the most troublesome thing I have spent a fair amount of money on. First it went to sleep and refused to turn back on, sent it in and got it back working like it should and now it’s doing this. It’s a little irritating trying to get work done with random loud hissing/static noise coming from the left side speaker of the laptop accompanied by a hot/burning plastic smell. It’s a good thing we have a 10 year old MacBook Pro as a back up as it ALWAYS works.
