Following May 24th Windows Upgrade I have no speaker sound or headphone output. Sound output via bluetooth seems fine. I have attempted to update the Conexant ISST Audio drivers, Running the troubleshooter and deleteing rolling back the driver to no avial. Microphone shows noise level input but no function. Speakers show normal operation on windows dialogues and test, but no sound. Any support much appreciated.

Hello,
Does your lapto model end with just n or na. If its na try the following BIOS update:
That and also try a UEFI test for audio (speakers and headphones):
https://support.hp.com/ro-en/document/c03467259
It could be that if you installed the Windows 10 spring update its just not working well and you could try to "Roll back to previous build":
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/go-back-to-an-earlier-build-of-windows-10
This doesn't mean that you cannot install the Windows Spring update ever but no update is perfect so you could just try that and install the update later.
I hope this helps you.

Thankyou. The Bios update fixed the problem. I had to remove the audio driver and reinstall after the bios update, which I did using the HP recovery manager.
Thankyou kindly for your advice.

The Bios update worked, after I had uninstalled and then reinstalled the Conexant Driver using the HP recovery manager application. Many Thanks for your good advice.
