I've had this issue for ever and finally fixed it.

 

1. Uninstall HP Audio Switch and the Audio driver for B&G it's called Conexant

2. Go to device manager - Remove both drivers under sound/video/game controllers - ISST Audio and dispaly Audio

3. Download the Newest Version of the driver - do not install through the install wizard

4. Go back to device manager hit action- scan for hardware changes

5. In Device manager go to sound/video/game controllers

6. Go to both of the audio devices

7. Select update driver on pc NOT Online

8. Select where you stored the driver package you just downloaded

9. Install 

10. Restart

11. Fixed !!!
