HP Envy 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have constant static on the built-in microphone on my HP Envy. There is no static if I switch to headphone speaker set, only the built in mic.

I have checked and the latest driver is installed. I have checked all computer updates, they are up to date.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Realtek drivers.

I have looked for solutions on the community but none of the solutions I have seen have worked for me.

How can I resolve this issue? Is my mic broken? Is it just not very good?

HPSA says: HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-cn0xxx Product number: 4LG42PA#ABG

I have also done a full BIOS update and nothing has changed.
