Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been having trouble with my device microphone which is recording 'robotic' sounding audio. This began shortly after a Windows 10 update which may or may not be related.

I have tried to update all drivers, have uninstalled the realtek microphone array driver and re-installed using the latest available version from the HP website.

My Windows version is 1903, the latest available update on the HP support pages is for Windows 1809 which may contribute to the issue.

Is this a known and common fault? Is this likely to be related to the Windows update or should I be looking at other sources of failure (hardware or software)? When is it likely that drivers for the most recent version of Windows 10 will be provided? My laptop is only 1 year old therefore I cannot believe that it is already out of any sort of HP driver update and support windows.

Thank you in advance for any advice and support.

Michael

Thanks, @Banhien,

I completed a clean install of this software and my microphone now works perfectly.

I am having the same issue. After I downloaded and peformed the clean install using Banhien's suggested link, the issue did go away but only for a matter of hours. Without having downloaded or installed any other programs, and without having reset the computer more times than the program requested, all of a sudden the static came back. Please help - i use screen capture software daily and this is a major issue
