Did you ever have any success getting stereo  mix on your machine?  I too am being driven insane by its absence, and HP seem unable to help.

Add me to this list - just got a new HP Envy 360x 2-in-1 16GB 1TB i7 w Windows 10 and all I have is the microphone for recording. 

Nothing is hidden, nothing found to be added. Where is my Realtek Stereo Mix?

 

 

Also, can the HP folks stop with the extremely annoying and unhelpful "I am more than happy to be happy to happily assist you" crap!???  LOL
