The problem Conexant UIU Service - path to executable:

C:\Windows\system32\UIUSrv.exe

And really the file does not exist and can not be found on the system disk drive.

This is the driver installed:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82001-82500/sp82248.exe

Audio is playing, but on every startup error is raised.

Can anyone tell me what exactly is the function of the service in question, whether it can be stopped or waiting for a new version of the driver?

Once the user has been using the computer for several days, it turned out that the problem was critical. Some programs when trying to use the audio device crash or crash the computer (it took me a long time to find out exactly the audio is a problem for the inability to use Skipe). At the same time, the media player was working normally.
If you have similar problems, the solution is to uninstall audio driver:
sp82678 (10.0.2636.98 Rev.II) or sp82248 (10.0.2636.96 Rev.II)
and install the oldest driver:
sp80323 (10.0.931.90 Rev. R)
with it everything worked normally and the error disappeared.

I'm having a similar issue. Where can I download the older driver?

Download from:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80323.cva

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80323.exe

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80323.html

Uninstall current driver; restart and check for EventID 7000; if exist you need to remove manualy service - from admin command prompt - sc delete "Conexant UIU Service"; install downloaded driver.

This problem exist i n ZBook 17 G3 too. You need to install sp81154.
