Hello, I am using a DAW on my laptop for audio mixing. I am using Sonar 6 Producer's Edition. My sound drivers do not show up in the programs audio options, and there is no path I can copy or any real info in the Device Mgr.  How do I get the latest ASIO driver for Realtek, which is the audio product that came with my laptop?

Hello,

I appreciate your kind solution and information for the ASIO driver. However, in the meantime, I found a work- around on a  Sonar DAW blog, which I tried and that worked. In case anyone else has a similar problem, I downloaded a free driver from [edit] My Realtek driver would not work in Sonar for ASIO.

It took an hour to get ASIO4all going, but my DAW, Sonar 6 Producer's Edition, recognized it right away, and so far it works perfectly! I needed to import .wav files and I could not get them to play until I downloaded the ASIO4all driver.

Thanks again!

I really appreciate the fast response to my question.
