Zoom doesn't work with your mic

I just bought a new Envy, and Zoom doesn't work with the micorophone.

I know it's an issue with Zoom only, because the mic works with Skype.

Yes, I know it says to contact Zoom, but this seems like a persistent and major problem with your computers and zoom. I suggest you get in touch with them and figure out this issue.

As HP is incredibly unhelpful about it, and this is a common problem, I'll post the solution I found here:


Control panel => hardware and sound => Sound => 'recording' tab => properties => 'advanced' tab => unselect 'Enable audio enhancements' => click 'apply' = Problem solved!
