@dj_betty,

Thanks for the update and your efforts and patience are greatly appreciated. It is great to have you back. As @The_Fossette is out for the day, I am replying to you.

 It looks like a driver issue and you've tried all the suggested steps. So please check by doing a Google search if any third-party websites have the drivers.

Don't click on any unnecessary adds, links or images. Try to download and install the drivers. Then check if the issue gets fixed. if it persists, the other option is to roll back the operating system to Windows 7 and check if the Bluetooth module works.

If the issue continues, then a great workaround would be is to order a USB Bluetooth model online from a reputed shopping portal likeAmazonn or from a local Best Buy or Staples store. It is extremely cost effective and should work like a charm once you connect it to one of the USB ports of the computer. Hope this helps.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

@dj_betty,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time Bluetooth was working fine?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While you respond that, I recommend you try updating the wireless driver from the device manager and check whether it resolves the issue.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on Update & Security.
  3. Click on Windows Update.
  4. Click the Check for updates button.

If you continue to face the issue, I recommend you download and install HP support assistant form the below link and install all the available updates for your computer and test.
