hi ..... i've tried at least 3 times now to update this laptop from 7 to win 10, and each time i get the issue of not getting any audio. it all works fine but the lack of audio, so obviously i'm back to win7. this computer was purchased in 2010 but works fine on windows 7. i would like to know if there is any workaround to get the audio to work on windows 10. apparently, after talking to an agent from hp, i was told that this pc is obsolete, and i should take it to a repairman. that is ridiculous. what i also find rather strange is that hp does not offer a viable solution to this by providing an audio driver for this pc so that i could switch to 10 and make it useable. has anyone else run into this problem or does anyone know of a possible solution to this. the only conclusion i can derive from this is that hp is purposely not supplying the driver for this unit so that they can profit by forcing the owner to scrap a perfectly good computer and needlessly spend money on another unit. any assistance or comments regarding this would be greatly appreciated..................thanks!
