Just stumbled across a (hopeful solution) found HP Audio Control app installed - opened it and it sprung in to life without making any changes! Just opening it must have reset something!

 

Hopefully this will help others too.

I have a Hp Pavilion x360. My microphone doesn’t work in any app. I can hear others but they can’t hear my voice. Instead they hear some weird static noise. I’ve tried settings and troubleshooting but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

.....I was a skeptic but this is what actually fixed my microphone....what kind of bug causes that HP???

Hi I had to uninstall realtek audio on the laptop and then re-install.  It fixed the audio issues with Zoom application.  Thanks

I know - I'd tried everything!!! (up until I executed this app of course!) - It was annoying me so much as had been going on for days.  So relieved - glad my finding could help someone else!

Meechy please tell what you did!  I only find HP Audio Switch app, and within that B&O audio control.  Help!!
