my microphone is not working

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my mic is not working it was perfect 2 days ago when i shut my pc down and it was not working the next day i know that my brother has uninstalled the device but that was a month ago and it was working good please give me the link to the latest 

microphone driver update so i can update my driver

Something similar happens to my laptop (15-DA-0015), I have no mic working, I tried updating drivers (all of them), following troubleshooting, but still have the issue, I even reinstalled the OS (this because, when you power on the laptop, you can check the hardware from there with no OS, and audio comes from speaker so appears to be fine) and the mic only worked just for a day or less, because now I have the same problem (no mic).

 

Any clue? What could be wrong? Hardware or software?

 

PS: now I noticed the power light (the one just next to the power input) blinks in a cycle of 5times, with laptop turned off and power unplugged.
