bought laptop had windows 8 installed changed to windows 10 lost the sound when i go into device manager it tells me no audio device found so need to reinstall it.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if installing this W10 IDT audio driver works for your PC.
This package contains the driver that enables the IDTHigh-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that arerunning a supported operating system.
File name: sp63555.exe
Install and restart the PC.
If that doesn't work, try the W8.1 audio driver from your notebook's support and driver page.
