Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The sound on my Pavilion has stopped working.  Begins well but quickly diminishes to almost zero.  Have tried to follow HP fix but to no avail.  Was directed to reference Device Manager from start button but there is no such listing.

@959graduate

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the audio on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the exact model of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

- Launch Troubleshooting by typing and clicking “Troubleshooting” in Windows search.

  - Click on "Playing Audio".

  - Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

P.S: Welcome to the HP Support Community 😊
