Product: compaq presario cq61
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use a compaq presario cq61 which recently, just stopped playing sound suddenly unless if I let it sleep and lock multiple times after I switch it on. I have tried running the troubleshooter and updating the sound drivers but nothing has changed. i even had to go as far as changing the operating system but still in the same situation. please help.
