My screen says "hard disk error" I ran the diagnostic test and got a failure id code. The failure id is: MBQ6SF-6HV9LN-MFGJW1-61SR03. I just want to know what that means and if there is a way to save my laptop. Thank you

Hi,

It means "Hard Disk 1 Optimized" test was failed and you will need to replace the drive. You might be able to retrieve your files by attaching the hard drive with a USB to SATA adapter to a PC once removed.

What you need is a 2.5" SATA3 HDD or 2.5" SATA3 SSD which you can find online for a good price

 

You will need to reinstall the OS.
