for the life of me i cant get this thing to boot. says install os.i can access a drive even external drive. just cant get it to recognize for boot

any chance someone can point me in direction of some  recovery media?

Hi,

first try performing diagnostics at boot. You can perform a fast system test.

Turn off the PC by holding the power button until complete shutdown.

Turn on the PC and repeatedly press ESC until startup menu appears.

Press F2 to enter diagnostics.

Try performing the hard drive test and see if there are any failure ids.

You can create a bootable USB drive (on a different PC) with Windows 10 on it and then use this drive to install the OS (if the drive is good)
