@madidenzer15, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

We understand that you are getting 90b error on your PC.
To resolve the error, take the following steps.

1. Press enter to clear the message and allow the system to start to the Windows desktop.

2. Turn off the computer, and then inspect and clean the exterior vents to remove dust buildup by blowing air through the vent openings. Dust can accumulate inside the vent openings and around internal cooling components, preventing the removal of heat.
For more information about reducing heat inside your computer, see HP Notebook PCs - Reduce heat inside the laptop to prevent overheating in Windows or HP Desktop PCs - Reduce heat inside the computer to prevent overheating.

3. After you remove the dust, turn on the computer. If the error message persists, continue with these steps.

4. Perform a hard reset. Performing a hard reset can reset recorded thermal values in the memory and enable you to use the computer for a short time to access and save important files before service.

For more information about performing a hard reset, see HP PCs - How to Power Reset Your Computer.

5. In some cases, updating the BIOS might help prevent this error from occurring.

For more information about how to update the BIOS, see the document for your computer:

HP Consumer Notebook PCs - Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) (Windows)

HP Consumer Desktop PCs - Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) (Windows)

You may refer to this document - HP PCs - 900, 901, 909, 90A, 90B, 90E, 90F, 911 error is displayed on a black screen | HP® Support

I hope this helps.
