Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I've HP Pavilion G4 Windows 7 32bit, when I press the start button the exhaust fan, Hard disk drive and disc driver starts but screen remains black and caps lock blinks without any beep for the interval of atleast 3 or 4 second. How do I  overcome this problem ?

It didn't work, the PC remains it's screen black and caps lock blinking continuously for each 4 second interval.

Bios or starter chip defective

 

In your case: Service is required !
- [ always recommended ] The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [ always recommended] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Check/Reflash bios

- Short circuit test
- General cleaning ...

 

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
