Product: Hp Pavilion X360 Convertible
I have a hp x360 convertable laptop I bought 8 years ago brand new. I have never set a bios password before, but three months ago (8.2024) I got an “Enter the administrator password or power on password” message, and I have no idea of the password. Please help me on this.

This appears to be an HP issue.
The message below was posted, 5 years ago, same issue. I just paid almost $20 to get HP support, just to have the technician tell me I will need to have the motherboard or the chip bios replaced. Meanwhile, this problem is post posted all over the Internet. Reprehensible!
