Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently after a complete hard drive failure (NTFS FILE SYSTEM and FAT FILE SYSTEM error) i had to change my internal hard drive. So I installed Windows 10 again and updated it as of 06th April 2017. The only thing is bugging me is I couldn't find the HP logo at start up.

I didn't used Recovery media as I said that my hard drive failed. Instead i created a bootable USB and installed with it.

Let me know if I need to do anything.

Hi,

You made a clean install of windows 10. I think that there is no problem with this as you can create Windows recovery disks and backup an image of system if you want. If you need any drivers or HP software you had when the PC was new you can always go to the download support for drivers and software and get these for your model.

If you ever need or wish to perform HP diagnostics, you can get it from here:

I like having a clean install of OS on my systems and install the applications I actually want or need. So do not worry about the missing logo.

Hope it helps,

David

Is there is any way to create a recovery partition in the laptop? It's way easier to access and install. By using the media creation utility, there is a option to create recovery on USB or a Disc but I want to create a partition which was present when I bought my laptop. How to do it?
