Hello
I have a problem with my hp victus laptop.
I turned it of last night and now it does not boot up.
When i press the power button, it blinks forever with a 5 second interval (5 seconds on, 5 seconds off).
I tried this :
Removing the power plug and holding power button for 30 seconds for hard reset. Still nothing.
If i plug in the charger, the notebook charges normally.
Also if it helps, when i try to power with the plug in, the power plug LED also flashes at the same rate but with a bit of delay compared to the power button led.
Thank you very much in advance !

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
I tried all those options but had no luck.
In the end i called hp support and they were very helpfull as well.
We came to the conclusion that it is most likelly the motherboard, i sent the laptop to hp service since it is still under warranty.
Hp support staff also recomended the same steps you did, so thank you for your professional answer !
