HP ENVY Laptop PC 14-eb0000 (167S1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello there,

I have recently bought this hp envy around 3 days ago. Around 2 days ago in the morning, I have opened my laptop to what appears as a automatic repair loop. I have tried so many solutions from various sources for countless hours, nothing has been able to resolve the issue. Here is what I've tried:

1) Resetting: will not let me reset, keeps saying that it cannot reset right now

2) System repair & settings: tried to boot into safe mode, however whenever I click the restart button it just restarts back into the repairing automatic repair screen... Won't show the options. System repair also did not work.

3) Uninstal features: always tells me to reset the laptop.

4) Command prompts: I've tried almost every cmd prompt solution I could find, none works.

5) Bootable USB: I've installed the installation media, however the option to select this did not show. I've already made boot USB as a priority, however this still did not show up.

Any sort of help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,

Thank you so much for reaching out. I have ran all (if not most) of the tests, all of which passed which I assume is quite unusual to why the loop is happening?

Thanks

Hello @ub6424

Sorry for the late response, been busy and didn't have a USB w 32gb+ on me. However I have done the set up for the bootable usb and have inserted it to my laptop. With the recovery manager up and running on the laptop, a problem occurred after the recovery preparation finished.

after clicking continue it keeps taking me back to the start where it asks me if I want to factory reset or file backup? I have not connected anything else other than the USB and a charger.

Cheers

EDIT: after restarting the laptop and entering system recovery the laptop started software installation. I will update if anything goes wrong or if the installation completes
