Hello,
Trying to keep an old laptop alive for my father.... Older Compaq CQ-57-319wm laptop, I installed a SSD and did a clean windows install from windows media creation tool. Laptops works but since the HP tools and recovery partitions are now gone I get a BIOS 501 error every now and then. I looked for a way to disable "quickweb" in the bios but the BIOS evidently does not support this feature. Is there a way to correct the 501 error? Do i need to add partitions and reinstall HP tools etc? Where would I find the tools / files to do this.
Thanks
