Hello,
I have over 10 notebooks with a BIOS password so that I cannot change the boot order.
Is there a chance to change / remove this.

@em-kiel

Without already knowing the BIOS password -- no.

The BIOS password is encoded into the firmware of the system board and HP does not reset BIOS passwords on existing motherboards.  Instead, they insist on completely replacing the motherboards -- which is very expensive.

You might be able to get this done if you take the laptops to a local laptop service facility -- but we are not allowed to provide any assistance with this.

Is the opposite of CMOS, battery or jumper out ...

Then these devices are uneconomical.

Had thought that these are connected to the serial number or that you can delete them by bridging them on the chip.
