So after some years of not using my HP Probook 430 G3, I've forgotten my BIOS PASSWORD. Been forced to reinstall Windows and not having a DVD-ROM, I am dependant on activating USB for a windows install. THis can only be done in bios setup which I can't open without a proper password.
Help me please. Thank you!

Hi:
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.
That was the only way it could be done.
Most HP business notebooks including the one you purchased, do not generate system disabled codes.
Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
HP issued this document recently...

The forum rules were amended on 1 March 2019, which no longer allow us to help with removing passwords.
Rule 4.d...
d. No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to bypass or subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc., or to bypass any safety measures.
