HP 15-F1000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My HP 15-F1000 product is having an issue and it is not loading at all after I turn on my laptop. After pressing the power button, the "Caps Lock" button is starting to blink but the screen became black and nothing is showing up.

So, I tried to find out the issue and got this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3S3KgcT-Ao&ab_channel=HPSupport, and went for making a bootable USB drive with the latest bios in another laptop (Dell Laptop)

I have found the latest bios https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-15-f1000-laptop-pc-series/29322771/swI... for my Win 10 64bit HP laptop (Version F.21 Rev.A). But after downloading the file (sp132835.exe) while I am starting to install it after 3 steps (see below) "BIOS Update Utility" window where I suppose to choose the "Create a recovery USB Flash Drive" is not appearing, also "HP BIOS Update and Recovery" window not displaying.

After this step, the file is downloaded in the C: Drive as you can see below but Creating the recovery USB Flash Drive window is never appearing.

Before that, I tried Windows + B/V on the HP Laptop but nothing worked out literally. I have checked other answers in the community but nothing worked out well, so I am starting a new post. Does anyone also face this weird issue or does anybody has any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

This video shows how to create a BIOS recovery flash drive. If you experience a hard drive failure on your notebook PC or no longer have the HP_Tools volume or partition, follow the steps in this video to create a BIOS recovery flash drive. Chapters: 00:00 Introduction 00:18 Insert USB drive 00:26

I have found the solution to this problem. First of all, you do have to use a HP computer to create the flash drive for a HP computer. Second, you have to make sure that the computer that has the damaged BIOS and the computer you are using have the same CPU chip in them (AMD or INTEL). AMD will not create an Intel BIOS recovery flash drive, and vice versa. I hope this helps others that run into this problem.
