Product: HP 15-DA0032WM
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I need to update my BIOS on an HP 15-DA0032WM laptop. When I try to download the update file from hp.com, I get a 404 error. I try the download link listed on this page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-da0000-laptop-pc/20395828/model/22185615

 

The broken link is: https://whp-aus1.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105678.exe

 

Can anybody provide me with an alternate link to sp105678.exe? Thanks!

I tried the BIOS download from the HP page and ran into no problems at all.  I don't know why you are encountering issues.

 

IF you are using the default Win10 browser, the old Edge, that is likely the issue and you you need to switch to some other browser, like FireFox or Opera, and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks - got it. I got a 404 on the latest versions of Chrome and Edge. Downloaded Firefox and was able to access it. Seems like bad site design if it doesn't work well with the most popular browsers on the market, but I appreciate that you led me to a workable solution. Thanks!
