Hi:

HP retired support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old.

This reputable 3rd party driver website has the drivers you need for your notebook.

According to the site, the last BIOS update for your notebook was F.21.

It was written to be run in Windows 7 so I don't know what will happen if you try to update the BIOS in W10.

It may work fine, or it may destroy your notebook.

Hi Paul.

Thanks for the reply. DV5 is running fine with windows 10. and f.21 is the current BIOS, so there's no need for me to update. Was just wondering if there's anew BIOS with the ability to disable WLAN, Audio, Infrared and so on.

Thanks again. Great support.

You're very welcome.

There were no newer BIOS updates available for the model series that I know of.
