@REO51ST

i used cmd format command and it said too big for fat32. I am using diskmgmt.msc to convert to 4096 clusters. Will that allow the format?

Thanks!

I converted to fat and fat32 and it is not recognized by the usb tool. Any ideas?

Thanks again!

I'm at home now and I need to download the program myself.

Got all that stuff at work.

I cannot remember the option but it's something like " Allow detection of HDD's"

You need to go threw the tabs when you create the drive.

THANK YOU!!! It worked!

I feel so silly that I never even looked at the option tab!

I was caught in complicated usage of diskmgmt.msc and completely blanked on what right in front of me. Thank you!

I appreciate your patience and dedication, you are awesome!

If only there was a sticky function. :):):):)

Hey just wanted to say that the smc file worked on the 8470w but only when I used a 128 MB USB. I tried with a 32 GB usb and formatted it to 3 GB but it didn't work.

Thanks again, REO.
