Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to update my BIOS version but BIOS update for motherboard id 84A7 doesn't exist in softpack 143896. 84A6 and 84A8 exist. The information I entered at HP's website to download the bios updater are correct. My notebook is HP Notebook - 15g-dr0006tx. Any help will be highly appreciated

My hardware diagnostic UEFI is a very old version, hence there is no option for firmware management when I press f2. There are only 4 options Memory test, hard drive test, language and exit. So, i installed the diagonstic uefi on a usb and use it from there. Thus, I can't check the correct bin file stored in the laptops hard drive. Also, my laptop is not booting up saying no os found on the hard drive, that's the reason I am trying to update. Is there any other way to look at the efi partition without booting up?

Thanks for your response. Much appreciated

You can also find a correct bin file via HP PC Hardware Diagnostics 4-IN-1 USB Key tool. See the screenshot below.  The correct bin file for your motherboard #84A7 is 084A6.bin.
