Product: Elitebook Revolve 810 g2

Hi,

 

I am trying to update the BIOS on my Elitebook Revolve 810 g2, however the BIOS was locked by the person who used it before me. He has since forgotten the password, and whenever I attempt to update the BIOS, it asks for a password, which I do not have.

 

I was wondering if there was any way to bypass this and "force" the BIOS update?

I need to update the BIOS as the laptop overheats otherwise; I have tried replacing the thermal paste - it didn't work that well
