I have a brand new HP Envy x360 Laptop that is not charging the battery regardless if the computer is on or off. I have used the brand new power cord and a C cable attached to my monitor - neither charges the battery. I have gone to the Device Manager and uninstalled the 2 entries related to the battery and rebooted - no change.

2. Verify BIOS Settings
- Restart your laptop and access the BIOS settings by pressing the appropriate key during startup (usually F10 or Esc).
- Check if there are any settings related to battery charging or power management.
- Ensure that battery charging is enabled in the BIOS settings.
3. Reset Power Management Settings
- Open the Control Panel on your laptop.
