HP Recommended

The blinking of the charge LED in a repeating pattern would be an error message.  When battery and the power adapter is applied is that what you are seeing?

 

Replacing the system board is not a simple procedure.

 

Running out of battery power when logged into Windows  could have the same effect as if you had been updating the BIOS and turned off the PC.  That would turn the PC into an expensive brick.
