This is a toasty hard drive and I want to replace it with the one in the next picture

Is it a good replacement? If any other and better options are available please let me know. and it doesn't have to be 1T, 500Gwill do, I guess!!

Yes you can use 1TB or 2TB those drives. But you can use faster 1TB or 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD such as 

 

1.  Samsung 870 EVO: https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-1tb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e1t0bw/

2.  Crucial MX500: https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-mx500-ssd

  and many more on market today

So it won't be a problem to choose any internal hard disk make!?

won't it create any problem with the laptop parrts, drivers etc?!
