Hi,
I have an HP 245 G9 laptop that was given to me by my school for my studies and when I turned it on yesterday, it wouldn't boot up. I have a black screen which says that the BIOS is corrupted and that it would recover automatically when rebooting the laptop but it still displays a message saying that it can't find the files or they are corrupted.
I followed the instructions to create a USB flash recovery discc but even that procedure doesn't seem to work (holding both WINDOW KEY + B + POWER BUTTON). It seems that there's no procedure to recover from a BIOS failure (corruption...) if your laptop has HP Sure Start enabled.
Is there no other way to fix this issue ? is the motherboard dead ?
Thanks
