Product: EliteBook 850 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought second hand Hp EliteBook 850 G1 from a few days ago. The laptop runs amazing and I love it, but the problem is that if the windows got corrupted and needed to format the HDD, I can't enter the bios because it has a password. I spoke to the guy I bought from and he said he didn't put the password and he is not the first owner. Then I spoke to HP and explained to them the issue and asked them if I can get SMC.BIN file just like I saw on youtube so, HP told me they don't provide the file anymore and the only solution is to replace the motherboard. Can anyone help me out, please?
