HP Pavilion 15-cs2064st
Microsoft Windows 11

Decided to reboot. Pending update allowed to install. Reboot looped repeatedly to a bios update failed message. Tried the power cycle manually while holding windows +b and now it just reboots without getting to the bios update failed error screen at all.  I desperately need this computer. It is a lifeline for work. Please advise.

I worked it out with this solution.

Recover the BIOS using a USB recovery drive

If you are unable to recover the last working BIOS version, install a BIOS recovery file from the HP website using a USB flash drive.
